Welcome to the legendary Dur- Dur Band International. We are regrouping some of the original founding members of our band, showcasing a repertoire of funky oldies and contemporary compilations of the best in Somali funk afro beats, disco, jazz, soul, and folk music.
Among many places we have toured and performed, Haus der Kultur der Weldt (HKW) in Berlin, Germany was the one of the most memorable moments for the band after leaving Somalia. Our live performance there reminded us of the Somalia Mogadishu National Theatre. It was an emotional moment to reflect on what we had lost. We had two days rehearsal in a studio in Berlin, producing some of our best music so far. It was amazing. We hope to share this with you soon.
The band is very lucky to have the opportunity to be able to do what we love the most: music. We have been able to share our beautiful music with love with live performances around the world. This allows us to travel across the globe and meet interesting new people all the time. We hope we are able to inspire you to work with us. See you soon!
